After my Dad passed away, I would go hang in the garden at my school. I saw this butterfly flying above me and I put my hand out, and well this happened. This was the only occurrence I was able to take a photo of, amazingly enough this happened 3 more times. I decided to see if this butterfly hand any special meaning, to my surprise it did. It's called the mourning cloak butterfly, and it mentions that it's a sign that someone close to you has passed away. A coincidence? A stroke of luck? I'll leave that up to you.
